Apostille Services in Ecuador
Do you have Ecuadorian documents that need to be recognized in China or another country? We provide Apostille services for Ecuadorian documents only. An Apostille is a certificate that authenticates the origin of a public document under the Hague Convention.
Whether it is a birth certificate issued in Quito or a criminal record check from the Ecuadorian Police, we can handle the legalization process so your document is valid abroad. Please note we cannot apostille foreign documents (such as those issued in China or the USA); those must be apostilled in their country of origin.

Frequently Asked Questions About Certified Translation
What is a certified translation?
A certified translation consists of the translated text accompanied by a signed statement from a certified chinese translator in Quito, attesting to the accuracy and completeness of the translation. It includes the translator's seal and contact information as required by Ecuadorian law.
How long does a Chinese translation take?
Most standard documents (1-3 pages) are completed within 24 to 48 hours. Larger projects, such as technical manuals or legal contracts, may take longer. We always provide a firm deadline with every quote.
Is a notarized translation the same as a certified one?
Not exactly. A certified translation is signed by the translator. A notarized translation includes a notary public's signature acknowledging the identity of the translator. Many official procedures in Ecuador require both steps, and we can facilitate this process for you.
Can you translate my Chinese diploma for SENESCYT?
Yes, our certified chinese translator in Quito regularly handles academic documents for degree recognition in Ecuador. We ensure the terminology matches the requirements of the Ministry of Education and SENESCYT.
Do you offer discounts for large documents?
Yes, we offer volume discounts starting from the 3rd page of the same document. This is ideal for corporate bylaws, court transcripts, or long-form reports.
What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:30. We are closed on weekends and national holidays. However, you can submit your request via our website 24/7.
Do I need to bring the original documents to your office?
For most procedures, a high-quality scan is sufficient for the translation process. If the receiving authority requires the physical "original" translation, we can send it to you via courier or you can pick it up at our central Quito location.
